Suntech, one of the world’s largestmanufacturers of panels,signed a memorandum of understanding (MOU) withthe country’s state-owned energy company Uzbekenerg to build the joint venture facilityin the Navoiy free industrial and economic zone, according to a report byRussian news agency RIA Novosti.
A Suntech spokesman confirmed to Recharge that a MOU hasbeen inked, but declined to confirm who the company has signed the agreementwith.
