Sithe Global scraps coal power; will build Nevada solar PV plant

Blackstone Group’s subsidiary Sithe Global will build a solar photovoltaic power plant of up to 100 megawatts as part of a revised $1.4bn plan to provide electricity to southeastern Nevada.
