Canada, which added 268MW of PV capacity last year, has been something of a disappointment to the global PV industry in recent years.

Aside from a large portfolio of utility-scale PV arrays unleashed by Ontario’s Green Energy Act of 2009, the Canadian market has not picked up much momentum – and progress outside of Ontario has been particularly scarce.
