Having “aggressively” priced its winning 800MW offshore project in Massachusetts, Vineyard Wind now needs the supply chain to step up and help deliver a wind farm whose cost-competitiveness will launch the US market at scale, says Lars Thaaning Pedersen, the developer’s chief executive.

“We’ve priced this aggressively,” Pedersen told would-be supply chain participants Wednesday at New Bedford’s Marine Commerce Terminal, where much of the onshore work for Vineyard’s project will take place.
