The judge in Chubut province has ruled in favour of Genneia, the only wind developer to successfully build federally-contracted projects, and says that Vestas must comply with its service and maintenance contracts on the $102m 80MW Rawson wind farm, despite the two companies being in dispute.
Genneia owes millions of dollars to the Danish company, but wants to pay its debts to Vestas in pesos rather than in US dollars as originally agreed.
