Serbia: China's wind power Trojan horse at the EU's gates?

Chinese wind power giants increasingly see Serbia as a key proving ground for their technology on the doorstep of the EU, Recharge was told by a major turbine maker and expert commentators on the region.

Success in Serbia and its regional neighbours can “break the ice” for Chinese wind giants in Europe and help them launch their presence in the EU, said Kane Xu, vice president at Envision Energy.
