Nearly two-thirds of top energy sector professionals view global political uncertainty as the primary threat to success over the coming year as over two billion people head to the polls in 2024, according to research by DNV.
Sixty-two per cent of respondents perceive the wave of elections and potential policy shifts as one of the steepest barriers to growth, the Industry Insight survey of among close to 1,300 senior energy professionals around the globe found.
