EC
concedes
that
its
original
plan
to
present
a
new
one
as
late
as
2018
has
been
overtaken
by
events.

statement
setting
out
options
for
beyond
2020,

EC
says
the
current
economic
and
financial
situation
has
made
investors
nervous
about
backing
the
“policy-dependent”
renewables
sector.
