The company is seeking to enhance its competitive position in both the onshore and offshore segments, spokesman Tim Brown tells Recharge.
It recently won a contract for 138 ECO 110 wind turbines from Spanish developer NaturEner for the 414MW Wild Rose I and II project in Alberta. The wind farm will be the largest in Canada when scheduled to become fully operational in fourth quarter 2015.
