The
factories,
slated
to
turn
out
nacelles
and
generators
for
100
turbines
a
year
at
peak
production,
are
set
side
by
side
on
a
14-hectare
plot
of
land
located
in
Montoir-de-Bretagne,
within
the
harbour
zone
of
Saint-Nazaire,
at
the
mouth
of
the
Loire
River.
From
2014
they
will
take
over
production
from
a
temporary
“workshop”
in
Saint-Nazaire,
where
Alstom
has
been
producing
early
versions
of
the
turbine
–
the
first
of
which
just
began
“final
testing”
prior
to
certification
at
an
onshore
site
at
the
upriver
Le
Carnet
site.

“just
completed”…
