E.ON
handed
in
its
application
for
Rampion
in
December,
four
months
later
than
it
had
originally
hoped.
But
according
to
the
website
PlanningResource,
the
German
power
giant
has
now
sent
a
letter
to
the
UK’s
Planning
Inspectorate
requesting
that
the
application
be
temporarily
withdrawn.
E.ON
reportedly
uncovered
“certain
omissions”
in
one
section
of
the
application
relating
to
the
responsibility
a
developer
has
to
consult
with
relevant
parties.
The
company
intends
to
resubmit
the
application
as
soon
as
it
is
ready,
and
remains
committed
to
building
Rampion
as
quickly
as
possible.
