RWE npower renewables says a site between Orby and Addlethorpe in Lincolnshire – known as the Red Zone in its plans – has now been chosen as the location for the Intermediate Electrical Compound.
The utility had previously identified another site as its first choice, but the local East Lindsey District Council subsequently said it would object to placing the compound there as a result of local planning factors.
