The offshore wind farm is sited 45km off the German coastand will begin producing power later this year.
Installation of the M5000 turbines began last September.
Areva said its work in Germany will stand it in goodstead in the French offshore wind sector, where it is turbine supplier to theconsortium including development giants GDF Suez and EDPR.
The French group, which is in the process of cementing an offshore joint venture with Gamesa of Spain, said it will have 120 offshore turbinesin German waters by the end of 2014.
