The company – a unit of India’s Suzlon – said in a firststep the access routes to the Langen-Neuenwalde location 20km north ofthe German port city of Bremerhaven are being built.
Senvion had announced the new offshore turbine in November.It features a rotor diameter of 152 metres, which renders an energy yield 20%higher than the company’s previous model, which had a diameter of only 126metres.
