Van Oord had been named as “preferred” EPC contractor forLuchterduinen last summer.
Construction will commence in July 2014 and finish by summer2015, with Van Oord to install monopile foundations, offshore power cables and43 Vestas V112 turbines.
Luchterduinen represents the first major offshore windcontract for Van Oord since 2011, when it was awarded infield cabling work atthe Dan Tysk project in the German North Sea being developed by Vattenfall andStadtwerke München.
