The deal – covering 154 of Siemens' 6MW turbines – is contingent upon Dong making a positive investment decision on the Gode Wind projects, with a final decision on the first two zones totalling 590MW expected as early as this year.
Should Dong decide to proceed, it would begin taking turbines from Siemens from 2015.
The deal follows – and is separate to – a major framework agreement between Dong and Siemens covering 300 6MW turbines for the UK, to be installed between 2014-2017.
