The first three nacelles and towers have already been transported to the so-called ABC peninsula at the offshore terminal at Bremerhaven, ready for shipping to the wind farm’s location 180km from the port, Global Tech 1 said.
Construction of the wind farm actually began in August 2012, and so far 51 tripod foundations have been installed in water depths of 40 metres, while cable laying is also in full swing.
