Theagreement, which will create around 200 jobs, aims to underpin the long-termdevelopment of the offshore wind sector in France by building on the existingindustrial expertise in the regions of Haute Normandie and Nord-Pas-de-Calais.
“Thisagreement constitute a major step in the establishment of the Areva'sindustrial offshore plan in France: the offshore wind sector is progressing,bringing jobs and re- industrialization to local regions,” says senior vicepresident of Areva's renewable energy business group Louis-François Durret.
