Davey today tried to ease fears that this week’shigh-profile decision by RWE to scrap the 1.2GW Atlantic Array project offsouthwest England spelled trouble for the nation’s ambitions.

Interest from developers in signing contractshas exceeded expectations, Davey said. “There will be some good news toannounce on offshore wind shortly.”
