Guodian's first-half net profit spikes to $8.2m despite shuttered solar ops

Guodian Technology & Environment's net profit rose sharply in the first half to 54.7m yuan ($8.2m), despite the closure of its solar business and a 23.5% year-on-year drop in revenues from wind products and services to 2.7bn yuan.
