Germany’s Senvion has nabbed a follow-on order from Scottish utility SSE that will see it supply 33 of its MM82 turbines to the Strathy wind farm in northern Scotland.
Located in a commercial forest, the 68MW Strathy project is already under construction, and is due for commissioning in late 2015.
The order “continues what has been an excellent start to the year for Senvion”, says Raymond Gilfedder, managing director for Northern Europe,
