Almost 50 of the biggest names in the global renewables sector gathered in Oslo last Thursday for the first annual Recharge Thought Leaders Summit – Holmenkollen 2014.
The event, held at the city’s famous Holmenkollen Park Hotel and sponsored by DNV GL, gave participants a unique opportunity to network and to discuss the key issues facing the industry in an off-the-record environment.
The event included the first annual Thought Leaders Dinner – addressed by Scottish Energy Minister Fergus Ewing.
“What I think participants enjoyed was that there was genuine discussion on the challenges our industry is facing, without grandstanding or marketing speak, and this created a real buzz throughout the day,” says Recharge editor-in-chief Ben Backwell.
“It’s going to be great seeing what we can achieve in 2014 and discussing where we are at the next Holmenkollen Summit.”
