Vestas nabs 88MW in India, Germany

Vestas is best placed to benefit from the recovery, according to HSBC
Danish wind group Vestas rounded off 2013 with 88MW of orders for wind turbines thanks to deals in India and Germany.

The Indian order for 51.8MW of V100 turbines came from Powerica, which will use them at its Jangi and Charbara projects in Gujarat.

The developer expects to commission the first 21.8MW in July this year with the rest following in March 2015.

In Germany Vestas secured a 36MW order for V112-3.0 MW turbines from Juwi Wind.

The machines will be used at three plants across the country and come with a 15-year service agreement.
