The wind farm, employing Vestas V100-2.0MW turbines, is due
for completion in early 2015, with preparatory works to commence immediately.
Munich-based Goodyields Capital will buy the project via its
Renewable Energy Infrastructure Fund (REIF), with O2 tapped to stay on for
The deal represents REIF’s first investment in Swedish wind.
The project benefits from “good wind conditions” and Sweden’s
“low level of risk”, notes REIF managing partner Ralph Seraphim.
This summer O2, a leading wind developer in Scandinavia,
sold its third wind farm to Ikea.
