WindEnergy Hamburg – which is taking over from nearby Husum as host of Germany’s leading global wind power fair – will take place from 23 to 26 September 2014 and is set to become the world’s largest ever international wind energy expo, its organisers claim.

The international wind show will be followed in September 2015 by Husum Wind, a fair catering exclusively to the German domestic market.

“The combined range of these two exhibitions with their specific focus is unique, and meets with very lively demand from the industry,” said Bernd Aufderheide, chief executive of Hamburg Messe und Congress.

“We can already say that WindEnergy Hamburg 2014 will be the biggest international wind industry fair anywhere in the world.”

WindEnergy Hamburg has already received registrations from companies for a total of more than 65,000 square metres. The organisers expect registrations to rise further, and say Log in to read complete article.
