second-quarter
2013,
the
UK-based
MPI
will
load
the
5MW
turbines
out
of
the
harbour
at
Eemshaven,
in
the
Netherlands,
before
transporting
them
45km
north
of
the
island
of
Borkum.
The
Adventure
jack-up
vessel
recently
performed
installation
work
at
EDF
Energy
Renewables’
62MW
Teesside
offshore
wind
farm,
near
the
mouth
of
the
River
Tees
along
England’s
northeast
coast.
The
Borkum
project
—
delayed
due
to
grid
connection
issues
—
appeared
to
move
back
on
track
last
month
after
Areva
delivered
the
turbines
to
Eeemshaven.
