Romania’s
energy
minister
Constantin
Nita
has
indicated
that
the
Eastern
European
country
plans
to
make
changes
to
its
green
certificate-based
incentive
programme
in
July
or
at
the
beginning
of
2014.
Romania,
which
offers
two
green
certificates
for
each
MWh
generated
by
wind,
may
cut
that
to
one
or
1.5,
and
for
solar
from
six
to
3.5.
The
maximum
value
of
the
certificates
could
also
be
cut
from
€55
($71.5)
to
€30
($39).
Energy-intensive
industries
in
Romania,
such
as
steel
and
aluminium
producers,
have
claimed
that
the
current
renewable
support
scheme
threatens
their
existence,
