say
the
decision
“does
not
affect
the
deliverability”
of
NorthConnect.
The
project
partners
hope
to
bring
the
interconnector
into
service
by
2020,
linking
Peterhead
in
Scotland
and
Samnanger
in
Norway.
The
plan
has
been
backed
by
Scottish
First
Minister
Alex
Salmond,
and
would
be
a
huge
boon
to
Scotland’s
ambitions
to
become
an
exporter
of
renewable
