Kato,
general
manager
of
the
Wind
Turbine
Business
Division
of
Mitsubishi
Heavy
Industries
(MHI)
told
Recharge
that
MHI
expects
to
supply
700
of
its
7MW
Sea
Angel
turbines
–
or
around
5GW,
to
Forewind
participant
SSE
for
projects
including
Dogger.
The
Forewind
spokeswoman
says:
“[Mitsubishi]
was
talking
about
a
relationship
with
SSE,
but
from
Forewind’s
perspective
the
turbines
are
nowhere
near
selected.
Ultimately
we
are
the
developers
and
it
will
be
the
operator
[of
the
2.4GW
Creyke
Beck
development]
that
will
make
the
final
selection.”
