Water
(formerly
known

Intertek
Metoc)
will
provide
RTE
with
advice
on
a
range
of
project
areas
as
it
moves
into
the
procurement
phase,
including
cable
installation
and
protection,
geotechnical
works
and
risk
management.
No
financial
terms
were
disclosed
by
Intertek,
which
says
it
has
worked
at
more
than
30
offshore
wind
projects
in
the
UK
and
five
in
Germany.
Past
clients
include
TenneT
and
ScottishPower
Renewables.
Success
within
France’s
first
tender
round
will
be
critical
to
getting
the
“embryonic”
sector
off
the
ground,
