The market leader was followed by Vestas with 23.1% and REpower Systems with 10.6% in carving up the 2.44GW of wind added in Germany in 2012, says consultancy Dewi.
In 2011 Enercon took 59.5%, Vestas 21% and REpower 9.7% of the 2GW added that year.
Offshore wind accounted for just 2% of the total installed in 2012, the figures show.
Of other manufacturers, troubled offshore group Bard contributed 4.3% and Nordex 3.5%. The latter has already said it expects to significantly boost that share in 2013.
German industrial behemoth Siemens, which has emerged as a global wind powerhouse, barely registered in its home market last year.
Germany now has 31.31GW of wind in place, says Dewi.
