Vestas moving 400 Danish staff to Aarhus

Danish wind group Vestas is moving all staff currently working at its facilities in Randers and Copenhagen to its headquarters in Aarhus, as part of its cost-reduction programme.

The company says the change will be effective from 1 July this year.

The move affects about 360 employees in Randers and a further 37 in the Danish capital.

Areas of the business moving are Offshore, Group IT and HR in Randers, while in Copenhagen the staff affected include marketing and finance workers.

Vestas will keep its warehouse at Langelandsvej in Randers, adds the company.
