Acciona
says
its
new
AW
125/3000
model
combines
the
longer
rotor
with
a
3MW
capacity
and
a
120-metre
concrete
tower
to
create
a
turbine
well
suited
to
low-wind
sites.
The
company
will
complete
design
certification
for
the
new
rotor
in
2013,
with
the
first
blades
installed
by
the
end
of
the
year
and
the
turbine
available
for
delivery
in
2014,
it
adds.
Launching
the
model
at
EWEA
2013
in
Vienna,
Patxi
Landa,
director
of
global
business
development,
claims:
