Arise
says
it
has
signed
an
exclusive
agreement
with
landowner
Argyll
Estates
to
develop
the
plant
at
a
site
on
Scotland’s
west
coast.
It
will
apply
for
planning
consent
within
two
years
and
if
successful
will
begin
building
the
plant
in
2016
at
the
earliest.
Arise,
which
both
develops
and
operates
plants,
says
it
hopes
to
secure
more
deals
in
Scotland
to
build
wind
farms
in
the
2016-2018
period.
The
company
is
pursuing
a
strategy
of
diversification
outside
Sweden.
