Spanish wind group Gamesa has signed a 400MW operation and maintenance (O&M) deal with Portuguese renewables giant EDPR.
Gamesa
will
provide
O&M
services
at
13
wind
farms
owned
by
EDPR
across
Europe
over
the
next
three
years,
with
an
option
to
extend
for
the
same
period
again.
The
431
Gamesa
850kW
and
2MW
turbines
are
mostly
in
France,
Spain
and
Portugal.
The
company
will
also
provide
technical
assistance
for
179
660kW
machines.
