Renewables orders up at Alstom

French group Alstom saw a stronger performance from its Renewable Power division in the closing three months of 2012.

Alstom’s renewables division took orders of €616m ($818m) in the three months to the end of December, the group’s financial third quarter.

Third-quarter Renewable Power sales were €408m, up 11% on last year’s equivalent period.
