The
German
utility
group
this
week
commissioned
the
13.6MW
Jüchen
wind
farm
in
the
Rhine
district
of
Neuss,
on
the
site
of
one
of
its
former
opencast
mines.
RWE
will
co-run
the
plant
with
power
producer
BMR
Windenergie.
The
utility
is
also
poised
to
grid-connect
the
Hörup
wind
farm
in
the
state
of
Schleswig-Holstein,
which
has
been
repowered
from
2MW
to
8MW.
Hörup
is
being
bought
by
joint
venture
company
Green
Gecco,
which
is
co-owned
by
RWE
Innogy
and
29
municipal
utilities
and
suppliers.
