The wind turbine manufacturer in October announced it would change its name in 2014, as the rights to “REpower” belong to a Swiss company that is now using the name itself. It will use the Senvion branding worldwide from now on.
The Hamburg-based manufacturer is a unit of Indian wind turbine maker Suzlon.
REpower/Senvion says the green colour and the elements of its new Senvion logo refer to the company’s renewable energy operations.
