Sweden deal for Gamesa G114 2MW

Gamesa has clinched a deal with Swedish developer Eolus Vind to supply four of its G114-2.0 MW wind turbines.

The Spanish group says the deal marks the European order debut of the model, which is designed to deliver higher power for medium- and low-wind sites.

Eolus will deploy the turbines at the Nötåsen wind farm in Sundsvall.

Gamesa will begin installing the machines this summer and provide O&M services for five years.

The company said it now has contracts and framework deals for 504MW of the new turbines in place.

It struck a framework deal late last year for 225 of the machines with EDPR for deployment in the US.
