NOPAgro Wind – a venture by a collective of Dutch farmers – will add the 195MW to turbinesalready in place at the site in the Western Noordermeerdike .

Thetotal cost of the extension will be about €420m, with the first of thenew Enercon E126 machines expected to be installed and producing power from thisSeptember. The project should be finished by 2016.

Aconsortium of the European Investment Bank (EIB), Germany’s KfW Ipex-Bank and Rabobankis providing the finance.
