Brown is chairman of the Norstec offshore network as well as heading up the French wind turbine group’s UK operation. He is also a Recharge Thought Leader.
Brown was elected to succeed current incumbent Andrew Jamieson, who has held the post since 2010 and is stepping down to focus on his role as chief executive of the Offshore Renewable Energy Catapult.
