Nordex said the installation ofa N117/2400 turbine at the 36MW Monaicha wind farm in Ireland tipped it overthe line.
Nordex installed 506 machines across the world last year, it said.
Board member Lars BondoKrogsgaard added: “Nordex has since installed 186 Generation Gamma N117/2400turbines of the type now assembled in Ireland, with a further 199 underconstruction.”
Yesterday Senvion said it sailedthrough the 10GW mark thanks to early-2014 additions.
