Vestas stayed as global number one for 2013, but Chinese producer Goldwind leapt to second place from seventh in the 2012 rankings.
MAKE said a 16% year-on-year boost in Chinese installations helped other producers such as Ming Yang and United Power cement their places among the leading global players.
However, MAKE cautioned that their places in the top rankings were highly dependent on domestic performance.
