Nordex gets 25MW RES UK deal

German wind turbine manufacturer Nordex has been awarded supply deals at two UK projects by developer RES with a combined capacity of 25MW.

Nordex will deliver six of its N90/2500 turbines for the 15MW Jack’s Lane wind farm in northwest Norfolk, as well as four N100/2500 machines for the 10MW Woolley Hill wind park in Huntingdonshire.

RES and Nordex had already worked together on several projects in Northern Ireland with a total capacity of 90MW.

“We are pleased to be able to execute a further two projects with our core customer RES for our proven N90 and N100 turbines,” said Nordex management board member Lars Bondo Krogsgaard.

Turbines for the two wind parks are slated to be installed and operational by the end of the year.
