The permit, issued by the Federal Maritime and Hydrographic Agency, BSH, is for 41 5-8MW turbines, as well as inner-park cabling and a transformer platform.
The developer has not disclosed the exact capacity of the OWP West wind farm, but based on the turbine size envisaged, it should be between 205MW and 328MW.
The company plans to talk to investors this year to beef up the project’s equity capital, but is not saying when a final investment decision is expected.
