The deal is the latest supply contract to be signed for the landmark development, whose lead-off 86MW phase got the go-ahead from the Scottish government last year.

Atlantis will also deliver one of its own 1.5 AR1500 turbines for the early generation array.

This month, Atlantis inked agreements with ABB Limited for civil works and onshore electrical equipment supply; Robert Bird, Global Energy Group and JGC Engineering & Technical Services to design and supply the turbine foundation; James Fisher Marine Services for offshore construction works, including subsea transmission infrastructure, foundations and turbines; JDR Cable Systems to supply subsea cables; and O’Connor Utilities for the directional drilling of cable bores from the onshore site to the seabed.
