The Scottish contractor expects to clean up as many as 35 lay routes for array lines at the 210MW development, which will cover 35sq km off the eastern coast of England.

Ecosse will use its Scar boulder clearance system, mounted on the anchor-handling vessel Havila Jupiter, assisted by underwater robots.

“This contract follows on the completion of successful field trials on Westermost Rough," says Ecosse Subsea Systems commercial director Keith McDermott.
