The three-turbine Louth Canal project was dismissed after a public inquiry earlier this year, as it would "considerably harm" Thoresby Warehouse, the last remaining warehouse of significance in the area.

The scheme would also "fail to preserve the setting" of the Grade II listed building, built in 1821. The turbines would take away the "last unspoilt piece of open countryside where you can fully experience this warehouse", according to conservation officers.
