Marcellodel Brenna, chairman of Friends of the Supergrid, says such a move would benefit consumers across the EU and capture significant economicrewards for industry.
DelBrenna says the supergrid is a huge potential economic success story for Europe,with member companies from his organisation employing more than one million people around the globe.
