Juwi eyes growth beyond Germany

German renewables developer Juwi last year installed 321MW of solar and 314MW of wind capacity, amid an expansion of its international business.

The total included 350MW in its domestic market. By 2015, Juwi expects to generate about 50% of its overall revenues outside Germany.

Juwi also said it wants to shift its activities increasingly toward wind power, both within Germany and globally.

The company is about to construct the 150MW Prairie Breeze wind farm in the US state of Indiana.

Juwi confirmed revenues of €1.1bn ($1.42bn) last year, which it aims to widen to €1.5bn by 2015. Privately-held Juwi does not disclose its profit figures.
